INTRODUCTION
I’m Michela Burzio, a twenty-seven-year-old product & interaction designer from Turin, Italy.
The world of interaction is huge and complex; through rapid prototyping, it is possible to understand the great impact that projects can have on people. I’m always hungry to create new user experiences. My long-term goal is to make technology easy to use and accessible to everyone. It must be a help for people to live better. The motivation that drives me daily is to work with people and brands that inspire me.
I love to present my projects in the best possible way, taking special care of the visual part. I believe it makes the perceptive difference that users have of the overall project. When not working, I try to open my interests to new experiences, without prejudices. Currently, I am discovering video games.
WHAT'S MY MISSION?
To design functional digital experiences and engaging products.
My expertise covers the entire digital product design process, including brand and visual communication, user experience design, and user interface design. I like building both digital and physical prototypes to better present my concepts.
The first step in the project is research. I like to be complete and it's interesting to broaden my background in a new field of study. I often make infographics that contain the greater interesting pieces of information. I am prepared to act in the user research field through analytical analysis, interviews, and data synthesis.
Data visualization is a field of great interest because it makes otherwise complex data accessible and easy to read. I enjoy studying in-depth the data and their meaning, rework them, and find the right balance to show them in visual design.
WHAT'S MY VISION?
Lead by example, help others, design sustainability.
I enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams, I can quickly obtain new skills and share mine. Teach and learn at the same time. I am open to work in an intercultural teams and see the multiple approaches to projects from other cultures. I love to discover what are the people needs living on other continents.
My training is focused on sustainability and environmental care. This means that many of my projects are aimed at functionality and waste reduction. I am very knowledgeable on these subject and I wish I could help people change their minds and become more activists.
